"The Gold It's In The..."
I actually came on here to write about an exciting work opportunity that popped up for me over the last few months. And realize using a song from one of my all-time favorite albums would be a better way to begin this post.
Pink Floyd's album "Obscured By Clouds" (Harvest Records - 1972) has been one of my absolute favorite albums for as long as I can remember. It's perfectly moody, beautiful and intricate. The song I'm using on this post is so incredible. The lyrics and spirit really have a cadence that I relate to.
Over the mountains, across the seas
Who knows what will be waiting for me?
I could sail forever to strange sounding names
Faces of people and places don’t change
Crank it if you are somewhere you can play something loud : ) I don't blab on and on about music like I used to. But expressing my devotion to this song/album is long overdue! You gotta hear it.
Will need to synthesize the “exciting work opportunity” another time. I will though, I really will.
